The Purdue Owl website is EXTREMELY helpful when I need help to understand what type of citation is appropriate for the work we are doing. I didn't realize how many different things go into citation and how there is a specific "formula" to make a correct MLA citation. According to Purdue Owl "MLA (Modern Language Association) style is most commonly used to write papers and cite sources within the liberal arts and humanities." I think it is exceptionally useful to check out this website even if you only briefly skim it, it will help you to gain further knowledge on correct citation in the MLA format. I think that Purdue Owl has been one of the best tools for me this semester in this class. It's great that it is updated so often, unlike many citation generators like Easybib.com. I like it that they go into depth about where to find the info and how to do it for different sources, like a book v.s. the internet.
I also agree Purdue Owl is one of the best and most helpful websites. I've used Purdue Owl since high school.It's not only helpful with MLA citation but many other citation formats.
In searching for reliable information ion formatting my essays, Purdue Owl is definitely a reliable source. I'm surprised on how much information and how in-depth the website is! I found this most reliable as a resource to cite texts which I can't seem to find anywhere else which explains how to format as good as Purdue Owl.
I think that purdue owl is a great source to be using in any type of English class because it provides so much help in both MLA and APA formats. I am so glad that Dr. V recommended this site to me this year because I have never heard of it when she was explaining it. I finally looked it up and I am in love with it. Thanks!!!

Before I attended this class I was previously using Easybib.com and I definitely like Purdue Owl a lot better because it goes into depth about how to use MLA format manually. I believe that it is very important to cite information and sources and I am happy that I learned how to do it is the correct way in this class.
