I've had some students ask for a copy of the enlarging paragraphs handout we were using in class. I've posted it in "pages" to the right if you need a copy.
The hand out has helped me lengthen my paragraphs a lot. The practice that we've gotten in class has clarified my questions regarding the differences between some examples. Adding data and adding an expert opinion seemed very similar, but the in class assignment helped me to recognize them on my own outside of class.
I agree with Maddi. This handout helped so much when it came to lengthen my paragraphs. Adding data to paragraphs doesn't only lengthen them but helps with your argument too. Your argument becomes more creditable when you have lots of data and sources.
I also agree with Maddi! I think that enlarging paragraphs is really important and needed to have in any essay because then the person who is trying to read your essay wants to see the most information possible. This is probably because it will get them to understand it better and not have to ask the questions in the end!
